I’m Emilie, a traveller and content creator based in Perth, WA. I was born in France, raised in the UK, and in 2018 I booked a one-way ticket to Melbourne. This was the start of what my mother REFUSED to call a gap year, but dubbed “the slow route home”. One year turned into two, and two to three – then four. Now it’s more than 5 years and thousands of kilometres and adventures later and I’m only just getting started…
